《饿倒在粮食挑子旁的粮草官》

一日，邓可运奉命，率24人的运粮队，每人挑两箩筐稻米，160多斤，徒步300多里路，运粮到正在松口作战的红二十四团。

One day, Deng Keyun was ordered to lead a 24-member grain transport team, each of whom picked two baskets of rice, weighing more than 160 kilograms, and walked more than 300 miles to transport grain for the Red Twenty-Four Regiment which was fighting in Songkou.

运粮队头一天走了120多里路，上路时一人发的五个糠菜团子早已吃完，战士们都饥饿难忍。于是，队长刘海门吩咐队员打来溪水，准备煮饭。

The food transport team had traveled more than 120 miles on the first day. When they started, each person had five bran dumplings,but they all had already been eaten, and the soldiers were hungry. Therefore, the captain Liu Haimen ordered the team members to fetch the stream and prepare to cook.

“住手！”刚查看环境归来的邓可运看到一战士抱着箩筐朝锅里倒米，他大喊道：“谁让你倒这么多的米，把锅里的米捞出一多半，做成稀饭。”他带着战士一起去山里挖野菜。这日晚饭，大伙吃了一顿野菜稀饭。

吃过晚饭，邓可运将刘海门叫到一边，耐心地给他讲粮食来之不易，讲前方战士流血流汗，对粮食如何急需。说得刘海门心服口服，连连点头。

长征途中

邓可运带头以野菜充饥，不吃或少吃粮食，使得运粮队战士非常感动，也纷纷效仿。
